Guacamole tradicional

1 chopped tomato
2 avocados, mashed
1 minced serrano pepper or jalapeno
1 lime squeezed (if big, use only half)
1 cup of chopped cilantro
½ cup chopped white onion
1 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
Cut hearts of palm in half and put guacamole on top.
Variation: Serve over grilled chicken, fish, rice or tacos, or just eat with chips!


Guacamole Verde
Makes 6 servings

6 tomatillos (husks removed)
1 avocado (peeled, pit removed)
1 jalapeno pepper (or more depending on your liking)
1 tsp of salt
1 handful of cilantro

Blend all ingredients to desired consistency and texture.
